John Weisner: Council of Outstanding Early Career Engineers - 2009

John Weisner earned a bachelor’s degree in construction engineering management from OSU in conjunction with playing on the football team. Upon graduating, he began work at Granite Construction Company overseeing projects in Northern California and Western Nevada. He then took a job as project manager at Frehner Construction Company and later took a position as a construction manager at Hooker Creek Asphalt & Paving, LLC.

In 2005, he moved to the Coral Construction Company, Inc., one of the largest specialty high contractors on the west coast, working as both a subcontractor and a contractor across the western states. Weisner is now the president and owner of the company.
